Client Operations Manager

Melissa Alexander, Meilinger’s Client Operations Manager and Assistant to Tax Director, assists the tax team by streamlining the process of tax return filing. She serves as a liaison, interacting with clients to request and distribute information and documentation.

Originally from Savannah, TN, Melissa graduated from Austin Peay State University. Prior to joining Meilinger, she taught English and creative writing and worked in both the program and development divisions of an international non-profit as Project Information Coordinator and Grant Writer. She managed a local tax and accounting office for seven years, developing a fascination for discovering the story behind every tax return (and there always is one).

Her hobbies include attending quality live performances, walking, reading just about anything, writing, and spending time with her two daughters. She plays piano and recently taught herself to play guitar.
